ICE SKATING, FESTIVE DINING & CHRISTMAS MAGIC AT BEAVERBROOK
Nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills, Beaverbrook is the quintessential British Country Estate, a peaceful haven just 20 miles from London. This winter, the iconic estate has a special programme of festive activities for those seeking a magical, luxurious and cosy Christmas. From 4th December - 31st January, guests can enjoy Beaverbrook on Ice - ice skating while listening to Christmas songs, followed by mulled cider, hot chocolate and sugary waffles from a dreamy rink-side cabin. This will be available to both hotel and local visitors.
Beautiful decorations will transform Beaverbrook into a winter wonderland. The star of the show will be a giant storybook engulfing the pillars at the entrance of the hotel. Carefully inked onto the oversized pages will be a poem by renowned past guest, Rudyard Kipling, who in 1911 wrote ‘Christmas at Cherkley Court’ (the former name of the estate) on the pages of Lord Beaverbrook’s guestbook.
At The Garden House Restaurant, diners can enjoy festive-inspired dishes in December. The Christmas Day menu boasts ingredients sourced from the neighbouring organic garden and warm, mulled cider will be flowing. The Christmas Celebration Kaiseki Hako menu at the Japanese Grill will serve its signature gourmet specialities and at Sir Frank’s Bar, a new winter bar menu will serve tempting cocktails such as the Spitfire Flip.
Children visiting the estate will love the advent calendar treats to be found. There will also be special surprises to leave out for Father Christmas and his reindeer on Christmas Eve from the hotel’s very own Rudolph Treat Station! Father Christmas himself will pop in to visit children dining in The Garden House Restaurant on Christmas Day.
As 2021 approaches, there will be impressive performances from ice dancers on the ice skating rink, followed by bubbles and delectable dining at The Japanese Grill or Garden House, and a pampering new year’s day programme at The Coach House Spa. What more could you possibly ask for?!
