HEROES VODKA: SUPPORTING THE UK ARMED FORCES’ CHARITIES

Heroes Drink Company is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to employing injured veterans and supporting the UK Armed Forces’ charities by pledging donations from sales. The company supports all three services equally and has formed partnership with the Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity, the ABF The Soldiers Charity and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.

Heroes Vodka is the organisation’s super-premium, luxury vodka brand with an authentic and heartfelt connection to the UK Armed Forces. Chris Gillan, a UK military veteran, created this special vodka to give something back to the men and women who have served our country.

Not surprisingly, Heroes Vodka recently won the Gold Award in the International Wine and Spirits Competition, with the vodka coming out as one of the top-rated producers after a blind tasting with a panel of high profile judges. This follows two other recent awards - The Edinburgh Prestige Award for Vodka Producer of the Year 2020 and Lux Life Magazine’s 2019 Spirits Producer of the Year. 

Meet the Founder, Chris Gillan

While serving in Afghanistan alongside the SAS, Chris Gillan suffered a training injury that would later end his career, and his financial position led him to turn to the Armed Forces’ charities for support. With career options limited by injury, and inspired by the support of the charities, Chris was determined to find ways to help fellow veterans. In particular, he wanted to help those with injuries to find employment, as well as bridging the charities’ funding gap caused by reduced media exposure following the withdrawal from Afghanistan. The result was Heroes Drink Company.
