NEW MAYFAIR MEMBERS' CLUB FOR SPORTS LOVERS: THE FITZDARES CLUB
On the 1st September 2020, Fitzdares, the world’s finest bookmaker, will be opening a private members’ club, The Fitzdares Club in the heart of Mayfair. Following a number of successful pop-ups, the bookmaker is going one step further to provide members with a permanent space to watch live sport in both comfort and luxury.
Fitzdares has been taking the world’s largest sporting wagers since 1882, originally founded on Davies Street in Mayfair. Fittingly, this location has been chosen as the new home for the The Fitzdares Club. Comprised of two floors, the club will feature a restaurant, bar, two private dining rooms and a dedicated Racing Room. State-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and 4K HD streams will screen sport every day, including the biggest events, from Royal Ascot to the Champions League, and those Vegas 4am prize fights.
Members can expect a dynamic weekly schedule of previews and talks by world-famous sports stars and experts. This will include the club’s new ambassadors - the legendary football commentator, John Motson OBE, and the iconic England cricketer, Sir Geoffrey Boycott. For those wishing to take a break from the sporting action, there will be a fine selection of custom-made chess and backgammon boards to play with.

Interior designer Rosanna Bossom, who also designed the iconic 5 Hertford Street, has transformed the space on Davies Street; and the extensive wine cellar has been curated by former Bar Director at Sketch, Dom Jacobs. Members can sample the locally brewed ‘Fitzdares Ale’ and The Fitzdares Club menu will offer all day dining options with elegant twists on traditional bar classics.
