UNIT LONDON ART EXHIBITION: 'TRANSCEND' BY TOM FRENCH
Transcend is a very special retrospective exhibition and memorial – to the supremely talented young painter, Tom French. Tom tragically passed away on Christmas day, 2019 after finally losing his battle with cancer and the body of 16 works presented in Transcend were created in the knowledge that they were also likely to be his last.
Tom worked passionately in his final months to create the paintings presented in Transcend which he wanted to be shown after his passing – these are presented at a special exhibition at Unit London as a poignant celebration of Tom’s life and legacy.
Largely monochromatic, powerful and yet tranquil, the works in Transcend speak eloquently of an artist at one with his art, pouring the essence of his artistic vision onto the canvas.
