NO TIME TO DIE: BURLINGTON ARCADE LAUNCHES A NEW 007 INSTALLATION
Yesterday saw the launch of a brilliant James Bond themed installation at Burlington Arcade to celebrate the release of No Time To Die. The installation includes a James Bond inspired entrance and special 007 arches running the full length of the arcade, with a show stopping James Bond ‘Gun Barrel photo op’ in the centre. Piers Morgan, Simon and Joyce Reuben were amongst the attendees at the launch event.
Burlington Arcade and 007 are connected through three iconic Arcade residents and long-time Bond partners: Crockett and Jones, Globe-Trotter and N.Peal. This September, Burlington Arcade will be joined by two more Bond partners - Omega House and the world’s first Bollinger 007 Champagne bar.
Omega, the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer, are launching a boutique ‘Omega House’. The brand has had a presence in the Arcade via their vintage store since 2006, but the new space will be entirely dedicated to 007. The new addition is a retail pop-up that will feature an Omega private members bar, and an exclusive exhibition by photographer Greg Williams and props and watches from the James Bond movie.
Adding to the glamorous scene is a special Omega-inspired carpet, in the same colour-way as the ‘Nato’ strap that features on the ‘Bond watch’, running the full length of the arcade. Look up and you’ll see time-piece inspired mobiles hanging throughout - a further nod to Omega and No Time to Die.
The Bollinger 007 Champagne bar is an unmissable experience for Bond fans. The launch follows the 40th anniversary of Champagne Bollinger’s partnership with James Bond. A limited edition gift box brings together three icons: Bollinger’s signature Special Cuvée, the Aston Martin DB5 and the legendary British secret agent, James Bond. This spectacular gift box features the silhouette of James Bond alongside his Aston Martin DB5. Greg Williams shot the new Special Cuvée 007 Limited Edition campaign, featuring his signature cinematic style that appears in the No Time To Die campaign.
