Abu’s bespoke designs are sported by Premier League footballers, World Champion Boxers, global business leaders and entertainment industry moguls and models alike. His team of specialist tailors in Venice, Italy are busy crafting the finest fabrics into unique creations, which is building his popularity globally.
Kabiru grew up in Nigeria and came to university in London aged eighteen, also playing professional basketball for his country and at a high level in the UK. He designed his first suit as a favour, and was instantly inspired to start his business. It quickly snowballed. Word spread about Kabiru's eye for unique design, made-to-measure accuracy and his ability to source outstanding, top quality fabrics. Kabiru has a strong working relationship with Scabal, purveyors of luxury cloth woven at an English mill.
Sportspeople in particular tend to flock to Kabiru because his basketball background gave him an awareness of the need for top quality designs to sit elegantly on all different shapes and sizes, from tall to muscular. Kabiru often dresses Arsenal footballers Thomas Partey and Sambi Lokonga, MMA Champion Michael Venom Page and many British Boxers including David Haye, Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua.
International stars also visit Kabiru when they’re in town. US music video and movie producer Daps is a fan, as well as Grammy Award winning Gospel singer Bebe Winans.
