The Ivy Asia, Mayfair will officially open on North Audley Street on Tuesday 31st May 2022, and you can now make a booking via the reservation lines. Open seven days a week, The Ivy Asia, Mayfair will be open for brunches lunches, dinner and cocktails.
An eye-catching gold bar and luminous green agate flooring steal the show. Expect to see luxurious Asian fabrics, colourful wallpapers, Paul Clifford glass and a collection of antiques throughout, and twelve cherry blossom trees within the restaurant. An open kitchen, sushi counter and bifold doors open to reveal five alfresco tables and the bar and main restaurant space will are connected via a cherry blossom walkway.
The restaurant’s kitchen will be overseen by Executive Chef Simon Gregory, and dishes will take inspiration from Asian cuisines, with a real focus on Japan. If you’re a fan of The Ivy Asia, St Paul’s and The Ivy Asia, Chelsea, you’ll be pleased to find your favourite dishes here too, as well as some new additions.
Exclusive to Mayfair: Snow Crab and Tiger Prawn Salad with mango, cucumber and yuzu kosho; Spiced Peanut Chicken with Coconut Spring Onion Lime; Kung Po Monkfish; and Bonsai for two people, with mixed yasi roll, pickled radish, crispy nori and dragon rolls. Desserts include the Red Dragon sharing dessert, with soft serve ice cream, cinnamon sugared doughnuts, peanut brittle honeycomb, coconut and banana and chocolate sauce.
On the drinks list, you’ll find sakes, wines, Champagnes and ten cocktails exclusive to the Mayfair restaurant. Cocktails include Phoenix, with tequila, Yuzushu Sake, peach liqueur, ginger and Fever-Tree Pink Grapefruit Soda; Spirit of Butterfly, with KiNoBi Dry Kyoto Gin, Italicus Bergamot Liqueur, aloe vera, elderflower, lemon, butterfly pea tea & Fever-Tree Grape & Apricot Soda; and Fujian Tea Party, with Song Cha Distilled Lapsang Souchong Spirit, Sweet Vermouth, Akashi-Tai Umeshu Plum Sake and Aperol.
