The Dining Room is flooded with natural light during the day, and by night, diners can expect an opulent dining experiences with plush fabrics, corner sofas, and twinkling chandeliers with gold detailing.
For the first time in its century-long history, a completely new kitchen has been fitted for The Dining Room, providing Executive Chef Graham Squire and the team a new space from which to produce the restaurant’s seasonal, ingredient-led British dishes. Menu highlights include Roast Orkney scallop, pea, lemon verbena and brown butter; and Cornish monkfish, mussels, seaweed, gooseberry and herbs. The Goring’s signature Eggs Drumkilbo and Lobster omelette have also been reimagined.
A whimsical, theatrical and fun atmosphere awaits diners in The Dining Room, with lively music, witty design details, and artful service. Trolleys glide through the space, providing a table-side service in the form of classic Champagne cocktails, sharing dishes, and head-turning Rum Baba Flambé. Sommeliers are on hand to guide diners through the extensive wine list, ensuring a perfect match for every occasion.
