We are so excited to announce that Hospitality Executive Victoria Sheppard (30) and her designer sister Grace Sheppard (28) are opening their debut hospitality venture Queens, located at 17 Queen Street in Mayfair! Queens will be open from March 2020, serving delicious breakfasts, lunches and those much-needed afterwork drinks. The brand new hot spot will also feature a special private dining / events space.
Victoria has a background at a senior level in PR & Marketing strategy in luxury hospitality, most recently working as the PR & Marketing Director of Marc Group, which owns UMU and The Greenhouse. Victoria has worked as Hospitality Marketing Manager for Fortnum & Mason, 45 Jermyn St and multiple other luxury campaigns, positioning her well for her brilliant new venture. In January 2019 Victoria made the “30 under 30” list for Hospitality Marketing, sponsored by Schweppes and JustEat, and previously awarded “30 under 30” in Media by The Mail on Sunday and MediaWeek.
Meanwhile, Victoria’s sister Grace has studied nutrition and has launched Hammer Holdings venue, The Wedding Gallery, overseeing the placement of several impressive global brands. In addition to this, Grace project manages interior design projects for high-net-worth clients at luxury property company Chartwell. She is overseeing the design and project management of Queens, so we can expect to see a beautiful outcome!
Home-made and artisan products will be featuring highly on the menu with produce primarily being sourced from their home county of Dorset and locally in London. Grace has been a vegetarian for 19 years and is passionate about the vegetarian offering, commenting “whilst our menu won’t be meat free, I understand the importance of offering variety of plant based dishes.”
The sisters have announced their collaboration with Difference Coffee, who only supply Michelin Star restaurants and private members clubs. Difference are currently in 61 Michelin star restaurants around the world. “Queens of Mayfair” will be Differences only collaboration outside of the fine dining sphere. Amir Gehl, CEO of Difference Coffee comments “We are delighted to be collaborating with Victoria and Grace of Queens on this exciting venture. We truly believe there is alignment in our premium offerings and a cohesive vision of our brands”.
There will be a grab and go section and takeaway coffee counter in addition to seating and private dining. Victoria comments “having been involved in many high profile campaigns, it is a dream come true to have a launch with Grace”.
