In honour of World Martini Day, George Club were kind enough to share their signature recipe for readers of the Mayfair Musings. Head Mixologist, Santo Borzi has a selection of top tips for the cocktail aficionados among us.
The team at George kindly welcomed us for a preview lunch and private tour of the new club. Upon entering, we were delighted to be greeted by George himself, the dachshund to whom the club owes its name and logo. He regularly occupies a dog-sized chintz sofa in the entrance, checking that any prospective members pass muster. We were treated to cocktails, canapés and endlessly flowing Champagne.
Taking place every Saturday from 12-5pm, this Dim Sum inspired menu includes half a bottle of Champagne for each guest. Just the thing to kick start an indulgent weekend (and perhaps encourage a bit of impulse shopping at nearby Old Bond Street).
