ANNABEL'S HOSTS VIP GUESTS FOR ANNABEL'S FOR THE AMAZON 2022
On Thursday 22nd September, Annabel’s hosted VIPs including Emma Appleton, Harrison Osterfield, Camille Charriere, Anson Boon, Jessie Mei Li, Dennis Nyero, Catriona Chandler, Connor Finch, Marli Siu, and Yinka Ilori at their annual fundraising event Annabel’s for the Amazon 2022. Each year, Annabel’s raises funds to aid reforestation efforts in the Brazilian rainforest as part of a commitment by The Caring Family Foundation, aiming to plant one million trees by March 2024 through their partner SOS Amazonia.
Members and guests enjoyed “Scarlet Macaw,” “Morphos” and “Explorita” Amazon-inspired cocktails by The Lost Explorer Mezcal, with each one sold planting an additional 2.5 trees in the rainforest. The Lost Explorer Mezcal are this year’s partner for Annabel’s For The Amazon month, responsible for the creation of the Club’s eye-catching new façade that will remain in place until Friday 30th September.
For the event, Annabel’s curated a lineup of the most sought-after DJs from this Summer’s circuit who have played in Ibiza, Mykonos and Tulum. This includes Jean Claude Ades, AME, Lloyd, Kaz James, Mr Shiver, Megablast & Eribertho Cruz (live), PAAX and Lulu Levan.
The Annabel’s for The Amazon 2022 event wraps up a month-long series of events and activations to highlight and educate Members and guests on the importance of Amazon conservation efforts, including the Annabel’s Kids Rainforest Party, an interactive learning experience that aims to educate children on the importance of preserving the rainforest and respecting our planet at large. Throughout the month, Annabel’s Academy welcomed guest speakers including documentarian Sebastião Salgado, activist Arizona Muse, Managing Director of Reformation Alexis Maule, Sustainability Editor of British Vogue Dana Thomas, Sustainability Editor of Vogue Brazil Fernanda Simon, and artist Dominic Harris.
